Victoria University of Wellington is excited at the prospect of being able to offer a study abroad experience that combines New Zealand's strengths of its rugby culture and quality university education.

Men and women rugby players at all levels have the opportunity to enrol at Victoria University of Wellington for one or two trimesters and join the local club competition. You can indulge your passion in rugby or simply get involved in New Zealand's national sport while studying full-time at Victoria University. This programme is only offered for students coming in Trimester 1 (February).

Programme features include:

• Enrolment at Victoria University of Wellington for one or two trimesters
• Free tickets to five Super 14 International games played in Wellington, an international competition between New Zealand, Australia and South African domestic teams
• Free Gym membership: where the Wellington rugby team trains
• Membership to the Old Boys University Rugby Club (includes men and women)
• Playing uniform from your team

Rugby Study Abroad students take a normal course load with access to comprehensive and flexible courses across the different Faculties and are members of the Old Boys University Rugby Club, one of the oldest clubs in New Zealand. Students are presented with a complete package that includes tickets to elite games played in Wellington, membership of the top ranked sports gym in New Zealand and the chance to hone their skills playing in the best club rugby competition in the world.
